This rather interesting article surfaced when I was glancing through the news headlines on my Windows Phone (which happens to have a rather good news app*) a couple of days ago. Titled, ‘what a city needs to foster innovation: cafes, bike lanes, and 3D printers’ the writers speculate on the nature of an urban revival for the digital context. Their thoughts largely echo those of Lawrence Barth’s ideas on workspace urbanism.

*Full disclosure: I do a little bit of work for Microsoft.
